Argos are always over priced.

This might be a fun test drive in a few feet of snow.

[1986 Bombardier snow cat SW48. V plow and straight plow. New OEM carb, plugs. Everything works as it should. Strong runner. Just to much machine for what I have going on. Have to make your own shipping accommodations. $11,000or BO. Buffalo, if the listing is up it’s availabke, NY]

Is there a centre plate separating the plow blades?

i made a mess of trying gto add a link to facebook..

Anyways, it looks to me like a V-Plow with a straight piece added to its point.
A wild guess , (and only a guess) was it was being used to cut and move snowbanks that had set up /froze after prior snow was moved.

Might of found what left of a old ring face that may have some true red glass in it. This thing was a pain to find in the hole.

Doubt it the ring is just copper. Looks quite old so could be from the period of true red glass where to get the red color they had to use gold. So making true red glass antique wise sought after.

funny how that can be sometimes.

Old beads that red cost so much more to make for the gold content.

Long ago step Dad had an old ruby ring he took to a jeweler that told him it was a pressed ruby.
swaged from scrap cuttings or something to manufacture.
So he was bummed a little but the jeweler told him that it could be worth more for clarity than some "natural" ones.

Your ring ( noticed per others more experienced prior mentions elsewhere on other rings , not me) has good prongs on it.
Yes we could add good prongs to any ring.
But valuable stuff deserves stout well reaching /holding prongs too...
(Guess if I faked them they'd have good prongs. L.o.l..)

Found this honker of a ring with a cz or diamond inside the band for some reason and then a cool looking earing that some sucker that digs holes all over and doesn't cover them dug up but never found in their dirt pile I found it though when I scanned over their hole and right on the edge of their dirt pile there it was. That's what they get.

It looks to have age to it and the prongs do look good. So it's why I think it may be true red glass so making it a keeper even missing the whole band

I would like to see that ring cleaned. I thought about buying an Ultrasonic cleaner for jewelry.
