Good morning folks It rained the entire day yesterday. I'm helping my daughter remodel her grooming studio & it's at the painting stage. We took the day off.

Good morning crew.
Got the boat out of storage yesterday and gave it a good scrubbing. Taking it in this morning for a new bimini top frame (went a tad too fast last time out and gave it the bends). Gonna get stainless this time instead of aluminum.

I do believe spring might be coming.
8 squirrels messing around.
2 Blue Jay's hopping from limb to limb.
Our Broodie is wanting to sit on eggs.
(I have told her theirs no rooster)

Will get some fertilized eggs for her.
She really deserves to be a mother hen.

Broke freezing temp yesterday , perhaps all the way through the night and squirrels are being squirrely today.
Chasing has started and breeding season begins.
I went out front and tossed a snowball at an unconcerned about me gray squirrel a few minutes ago by the bird feeding station.

black squirrel regular out back was rubbing it's chin(?) on pine bough. Both picking up and dropping off scent I suspect.

Going to set old hen.
Used to see one in a wide gapped slatted crate upside down over her after hatching.
Chicks could run in and out but the hen couldn't.
She'd warn them if trouble came around and they'd run back into the crate.
Well the ones that were going to evolve did anyways.

70s today. Daughter moved out so I’ve been working on her room. Did the carpet today and I believe I’m about done

Another hot one today, 38c, 100f.
Another full week in the 30s predicted.

Sorry i have been absent... i have been preoccupied with an emergency situation.

We are losing another family member...

our sweet sweet Kara... our 15 year old Chihuahua... she is absolutely the sweetest dog i have ever personally known... she never even so much as barked at someone her entire life.
Her nickname is "cat-dog" for when she did bark it almost sounded like a cat.

It was sudden and unexpected... unbeknownst to us she has diabetes without any symptoms and it has taken a toll on her very quickly... and she will no longer be with us very soon.

We are in shock and of course devastated.

I will not be on in usual fashion as i am too wrecked to focus on anything online for now.

I hope all is well with everyone and wish you all goodness.

I'm sorry about Kara. Just heart-breaking to lose a sweet innocent pet. They are family.
