The orioles are back eating my grape jelly. A bit dark in my porch this morning. Very cloudy.

This is a female northern oriole.

I bought a new fishing reel. It came with 20lb line. I stripped it off and cut it into sections for the orioles to make nests with. They love it and other birds use it too.

More rain today through Saturday. Been a rainy year so far
Most of moisture in this rain event has been late in the day, and overnight.
They were forecasting 2" overnight.
We got over a 1/2" the night before.
But nothing is drying up in the fields.
Delayed planting

My Deus 2 is supposed to arrive tomorrow (thanks Bart!).
Can anyone fill me in on this "tekkna" programming you guys have been talking about?
Thanks.

Hopefully it's OK to post this link -- that has easy screen references to set it up. If the link doesn't work, search "Garys XP Deus 2 Tekkna program".

Thank you Robert, much appreciated!

I entered the real estate world today. As in all things there are.... some dumb asses in the field. Selling my Dad's place, double wide mobile in a nice 55 and older park. They Mom and Dad sold their old mill house on 1 1/2 acres years ago. It had a view of the Port and mouth of the river. It was an old little house , tiny bathroom (1) old windows, 1 wall heater and a fireplace. Poorly insulated and on a hill with a tough road and driveway. When we moved to Brookings-Harbor in 1969 they paid 16,000 dollars for it. Sold it for 400 thousand! I suggested move in to a mobile home park, no yard maintenance, modern home, great heat, nice sized rooms. For years around here people would buy a new manufactured home....mobile home is what the older ones are called..and put it on property. I would have my friends company install/set the home and then I would build decks, garage's, shops etc.

Nice! In today's dollars, that 16K would be $139,421.91 -- too bad they don't take that into account for capital gains taxes. :BangHead:

The house sale was there first so that helped with the taxes, and a lot of it was cash....so...

As I look at my guitars and ask.... Can you help me out?
DAMN!!!
