Back dragged the truck plow blade on parts of three drives where slush ruts had frozen with high sides.
It planed them down pretty good. Didn't over do it, just shaved off the high stuff.

I'll back blade with a tractor out on the slope where our road rises to join the main road if it gets slick again.
The recent snow helped traction though.

I took some slush off doing the same, but the flash fresh won.
The ladder sections slide really well 👌
Maybe too well actually, need to keep a shorter chain on the hook up.
30 feet and weighing 350 pounds slides really well. 🤣

It's easy does it on the throttle type driving for sure.
Main road was a mess this afternoon. Getting to being two tracks again. A truck hauling a car on a trailer zoomed by when I checked the mailbox.. Better him than me hauling a trailer on slick roads.
Then an excavator being hauled on a trailer going the other direction. Yee ha!

I actually missed it and fell asleep at about 10pm. I posted my happy new years when I woke up about 1.30 am. 😂
That's 2 yrs in a row I fell asleep and woke up afterwards. 😂

Ah, yeah I have heard of Jim Straight. Most everyone I knew from when I started are gone. Most of the dedicated gold forums have either gone or have very little traffic these days as the well known guys disappeared. Few still hanging on but their useless compared to how they used to be. Do you ever remember the first Aussie gold one Finders Forum? That place was wild as the west. Had some seriously good prospectors on it from all over Australia but as they passed it went to the dogs and became a cess pit. Went from the best on the net to the most vile and eventually shut down over legal issues, one going to sue another, others threatening legal action. Became a total mess inhabited by trolls and scum.
Anywho, hope you had a good new years mate. 👍
