Indiana looks tough for sure. I was kind of rooting for them until Miami made it to the big game. Now I'm hoping Miami wins. One thing that I don't care for is Indiana's coach. He acts like a world class douche. All part of the rivalry.
You're talking hockey right?

So, here's the honest truth about "suckin' toothpicks"....

Long haul drivers would take toothpicks and soak them in liquid ephedrine, crushed cross-tops
(and some other odd combinations), and then just stick them up in the headliner above the
sun screen. When you were getting tired and had no time to stop, you just reach up and grab
one of those toothpicks and start chewing. Because the stimulant was diluted it was just
enough to keep you alert and putting down the miles as you crossed the country on a dark
night in the middle of nowhere and a thousand miles to go.

Moral of the story? If a trucker offers you a toothpick, it's probably best to pass on it. View attachment 2240298
I've been drivin' all night, my hands wet on the wheel
There's a voice in my head that drives my heel
It's my baby callin', says, "I need you here"
And it's a-half-past four, and I'm shifting gear

Ha, I'd rather watch paint dry than hockey or soccer.
That goes for most of every over paid entertainer.
I lost all respect for sports when the big contracts started influencing the outcome of the games.
Not knocking anyone that get their engine revved up on the open play/pitch/or when the puck drops as it's entertainment, though I would rather spend my $$$ doing something for me.
Did watch a football game back in 2009 around New Years while vacationing in FL.
Master's golf game was viewed as well. :dontknow:

Available on Amazon for about $425. Cool toy, but too expensive just to have it to play with. View attachment 2240296

Straight roads are great, but America isn't built for it...there's a few bumps here and there.
What I'd have loved to do (sometime in the past) was to drive one of the Aussie road trains
across that country. I've seen video's where they're pulling three 40' trailers.
Now this is only from the perspective of me driving down the highways of the outback. Bought a 1972 Toyota station wagon in a car mart in Sidney (Later sold in Darwin 2 months later and 10,000 extra on the car) Trouble free :headbang:
Now we have the experience of driving on the wrong side of the road under our belt (Rarotonga & New Zealand)

We set off with the dire warning "If you want to save the windscreen (windshield in english) you do this when you see a road train: Pull off the bitumen (pavement in english) slow right down, flash lights at the oncoming train. If not you'll have many rock chips.
We did-and no rock chips.
We did follow one really close one night for safety reasons. We didn't have a Roo bar on the car and the Mrs was a nervous nelly. "Dear if the road train hits anything all we are going to hit is hamburger coming out on this end"

Playing with balls and pucks...Nah.
Today is the season opener for Supercross in Anaheim! High flying fun! :icon_thumright:
I’ve been watching some of the early Supercross races that popped up on my YouTube feed. 1970s and 1980s. Pretty cool seeing those air cooled and dual rear shocks bikes. When they finish and they showed the winner he was so tired, I was like get that guy a cigarette and a Budweiser. No Monsters or Red Bull back then. Lol

My brother gave me his old 3d printer and helped me with this huge upgrade for my D2.

Used some history and rumor from old timers as a last ditch detecting spot and ended up finding the rumors to be true and history in a spot no one appears to bothered to detect only hit a small portion right away hit my first V nickel it's toast but a first for me.

Very cool, I like it!
I need to get a 'kickstand'. With the HF2 coil it falls over every time I set it down. That addition of yours looks like it would protect it good when it falls over.
