My buddy got me the Bob Marley edition Guild guitar! I love it,but there is 1 big problem!
I have no clue how to play guitar! Im just a huge Marley fan! 2 cats 1 Bob 1 Marley and my Pitty is Ziggy.

They showed on TV last night a special of Bob Marley at a recording studio in the 70s. The first 5 minutes was them getting bent on huge joints. Then when they started playing I think they were so bent they kept playing the same tune for ages, probably in some weed induced trance 😂
I like his music but I couldn't take anymore after 15 minutes and turned it off. 😂

Yep! Thats what I got! One day ill learn to play it. My hands and fingers dont always cooperate with me. So its gonna be a struggle!

Ive watched everything on him! I visited his memorial in Jamaica many times! Also visited Peter Tosh's memorial. Longest I spent in Jamaica at 1 time was 3mo. Shortest ill stay when I go is a week! I love it there!

Do you just stay at the resorts or venture in to.... the better not areas, I have heard not really safe or welcoming.

I frequently am in the so called bad areas. I never had a single issue. Now I was alone,tattooed, long hair....looked like a bum! So i definitely wasnt a target to be robbed. The best jerked chicken isnt in the tourist areas...lol!
At first I only stayed at a resort called The Grand Lido in Nigril...now its been sold and is called something else. So I started renting houses or condos,but im all over when I go there! Ive been into the mountains with a bunch of rastas and went swimming with the crocodiles in the Black river and leaped from the cliffs at Rick's Cafe....and cant waitto do it all again for the 100th time...lol!
My favorite safe for my wife and myself thats super chill is St.John USVI! Absolutely great there! If you need any herbal remedies I highly reccomend the produce stand/building across from the bar on the opposite side of the island.
For the most part no matter where I go I always have more fun in the local non tourist areas. Just dont be flashy and you'll be fine.

The welcoming part is all about you and your actions. Dont go taking pics of the rastas without asking and just be cool!
Sure absolutely things can get sketchy! I wouldn't take my wife with me at all to some areas,but others...sure. If I had kids something.

Full grills are a bit much! Unless you're thuggin. Then its a status thing! But that seems to be a fading trend now.

This was over 40 yrs ago, a single tooth was a rarity.,
I can still see his smile, but then again it was almost too fake to believe he was genuine.

F/V Texas Lady is 65' in length. Afternoon high tide has unfortunately moved her parallel to the sea. They are going to try and get it strapped (with 1700 feet of tow line that is on its way from Seattle) and then get that lead out to a Tug which is coming from Coos. There will first be attempts by divers and land crew to get her strapped. If that doesn't work, a helicopter crew will try.
Another scenario, involving the luck of the sea, is that the higher tide early in the morning pushes her back into the drink and then she gets attached to the tug whilst afloat.
