I saw a video on Japans maglev train and how fast it was. But something caught my eye. Was it the trains shadow or something else.
Here's the one that's the most prolific on the net. There's a few versions of it but the footage is the same.

So I did some searching and the thing that caught my eye wasn't a shadow, it was a car on a road under the bridge. All the footage is the original in this one. The others they sped up a fraction of the video so the train looked faster. What people get out of doing this I don't get.

They want to build a high speed train link between Toronto and Quebec.
There's 2 railway lines now but they're going past all the small cities. Putting it through Virginia wetlands, heritage farms, disturbing the rural. It won't serve us any good 😕

And speaking of such things ... what's the preference for posting images? Not just in this thread, but in general. If I post as thumbnails you have to click, it seems an annoyance to have to click something, but on the other hand, if I post as full image, it seems an annoyance to have the whole image right there "in your face" if you didn't want to see it. (This is particularly an issue when posting newspaper clippings in my bottle postings.). Which do people generally prefer?

Stick with the full Monte.
Takes too much effort to click on those little thumbnails.

Went Iverson to the estate sellers place. Their newest auction has some 1 oz. Silver coins. $205 +33.34% tax & premium.
Can the Chinese wash money faster?

Did buy a 45 lb lot of DVDs, 20 lbs of EPCopper silver plate. 3 EP Brass Silver plate.

Sortiut Mt briefcase this morning. Had stuff in there from the mid 80's (something from a Carl muller?)
Anyways found a 5.54 gram 14Kt chain in a box.
I'll take it thank you very much.😁

Had a couple days out got to do a tiny bit of detecting. Only really found three semi interesting things. A 1920 S wheatie, a junker ring(curious if it's old or made to just look old) and a thing I do not know what it is. I'm thinking some type of jewelry I'm thinking older because the wiring just has that look if I'm right not sure though.

Yes, they are building new rail systems here and we keep hearing "this is a win for all Victorians".
Um, we have a train line where I am, and where we lived in the last two places, and we have no passenger services stop there or service the towns. In fact, nothing has been done to any other rail lines other than the Capital Melbourne.
They don't care what and who they affect doing things even though they scream from the top of their lungs "climate change, environment, save the planet".
They're all full of it. The trouble being all up top are not there for good, they're career politicians seeking the big kaching at any cost and hammering down and discrediting anyone who even looks like they actually are good.
Like here, "we need more renewables to save the planet and stop green house gasses" so they bulldoze forests to set up power lines and solar.
In the meantime the people telling us this are taking private gas guzzling jets and helicopters to here and there which were only a couple of hrs car drive away which would use a fraction of that nasty horrible greenhouse producing fuel.
Id like to call them morons but they're not. They're snakes.

That's a cool looking old ring. Although it's not precious metal it is a very nice find!

Good Monday to you... We could use some warmth. Low 40's here for a high, below freezing still at night. 50's Wed will be awesome. The tropical plants and vegetation took a hit from last weeks deep freeze. I hope they recover
