Yesterday the stripper I ordered from the Internet came in, no not that kind of stripper

Were you affected by the winds that hit the west coast of BC? Lots of power outages on the Island and lower mainland reported.

Up here at the narrow end of the valley we are protected by some pretty good hills
(up to 10,000 ft.) on three sides. 90% of the time it can blow a gale 30 miles downriver
and it'll just be breezy up here, but if the wind comes in at just the right angle we can
get roughed up pretty good. Those last winds shook the trees a bit, but we never
lost power, which is usually the first thing to go.

Yeah....Amazon's got just about everything these days. I was going to order one, too,
but the wife said "Absolutely not!"....... That settled the issue...

Good morning!☕️ I ate a meal in a restaurant (trattoria) in N Italy and part of it was fried wrens. I had trouble afterwards picking out a #12 shot stuck in my teeth.

I would think you could just yell BOO and eliminate the need for shot. How many fried wrens are in a helping ?

Good afternoon !
It's raining here on the coast, and 7 miles up river also. I'm watching and videoing a creek to see the water flow patterns now as compared to the winter months. Observe where the gold "drop zones " are.
A couple of hikers asked me... whats that for ? Referring to my pistol. So many smart ass comments are prepared. My response.... A cougar attacked a tourist a few days ago. Their retort... We didn't hear anything about it. I said... spotty internet service up here but it was posted on the big cat network.

Last week there was cat scat on the trail.

Apparently using a harrow for hours on the road in the cold yesterday was a bad idea.
Screaming headache/neck bones all night and most of today.

Almost done with a minor refit...the 30 year old girl can still run in the 60s if need be, and I take every short cut known to man by being able to run in 6 inches of water !! The one and only 18 "master angler" maverick flats skiff...the Cadillac of flats skiffs. The new 18s all fit inside this boat, and are not nearly as wide. The second skiff, a classic 13 whaler is also coming along in its refit. Ill keep this skiff in the middle keys for adventures down island. Modifying it to be able to lift out of the water on davits !!
Time to get GOLD!!
