Do you ever find any like this ? The color is awesome ! It really need to be bigger, 3/4 inch just ain't makin' it !!

Heck yes we do! I love that blue hue. My biggest is only 1/2" but I love the variety of different fossils while diving. Throw in a metal detector and it's like a double treasure hunt!

Back in 2008/9 we had a rental right on the beach in Venice. Never found any big teeth but I found over 500 in a month. I was possibly obsessed-wife telling friends a recap of the stay "Jim was out there at 6am in the morning with his mug of coffee!"
Biggest ones are like this one beside the quarter.

44 degrees feels delightful this morning.
Put some hours into the dirt road yesterday filling and slightly grading. Maybe try it out in a truck today and see if I break anything bouncing along.

Headed up to the shark tooth capitol Venice to do some shark teeth diving this week. Me and a buddy are bringing a couple Nokta Pulsedives 5.5 coils as well. Hoping it keeps me a little more focused on what's in front of me.
Expecting to find a whole pocket full of .50 cal shells from ww2 training, but who knows maybe there's some silver or gold fused to one of those 🤠

Sharks teeth from Florida friends & I have found over the years. The top one was found on a job site in Sarasota by a co worker in 2020. The light ones are from the Bone Valley, the dark ones are water finds.

We have bowls full of the small ones.

Impressive collection, while the ones with blue hue are my favorite, those bone valley finds are absolutely beautiful. The white and pearl colors are incredible. Hoping one day to get out there but I heard the gem pit got closed and I wouldn't even know where to start on that coast.
I Usually find tons of manatee bones and stingray barbs while diving. Underwater you can pick up a handful of sand and find the real small ones by the hundreds. Sometimes fun to just sit next to the anchor and sift. All ~30ft dives, so no need for safety stop. Visibility usually sucks (1-5ft).

I keep my squirrel peanuts in a small trash can with a locking lid bail. I forgot to lock it last night when I put in a new bag of peanuts. Here's what I had left this morning. The little shits pryed off the lid & ate the whole 3 lb bag!
