Mornin all.
3 Hrs. after sunrise doe out back with two fawns trying to keep up.
May be another fawn I didn't see but two is plenty.
No wonder the doe has been browsing so much up and down the road and in yards.
.The hosta in one garden is gone. But those are candy to deer anyways.
Second growth trees show browsing.
Even opened up and growing fiddle head ferns. Which deer don't browse that I've ever noted before.
I planted two ostrich(?) ferns as instructed as to where, and one of them is squished. Other plants are flattened too. Perhaps fawns laying on them?
Two apple tree grafts remain by the front door outside. The one still tied to the rail with a sock for support after the deer assault. .l.o.l..
Good thing trees are not my livelihood.
