Osprey certainly don't make very comfy looking nests!

You hardly ever see the actual insides of these nests since these photos are hardy ever taken from above, so what you mostly see is the "framing" of the nests, the inside is often lined with softer materials.

Also these nests get bigger as time goes on because the parents nest in the same nest every year and spruces up and repairs the nest each year.

Here's another photo and it's very rare because it's a trio, 2 females and 1 male in one nest, both female have laid eggs and share the job, the male has to work twice as hard to please his 2 girls, this is in Scotland and the only nesting trio ever known.

The undercoated it with black grease, didn't stick very well.🤣
Mechanic was right greasy everytime he touches it.
69 thousand on her now and 18 yrs old.
I think it was going to be a case of rusting.out before wearing out.
But I think I can always change her mind.

I don't know which one I like the best? Ospreys, Peregrines, Owls, Kestrels, Ernes, Eagles, and just about every other bird of prey are fascinating to watch when on the prowl for food. Even gymnasts winning a 10, aren't as graceful.

I showed this picture to a couple of guys and they gave their opinion on how big was his rack.
Then they said it had a good amount of time to keep growing (till rutting time)
This photo was just with the phone 250 ft away, watched him for 20 minutes 2.30pm
