Well it was a nippy day at the auction today.
Deep pockets, we'll to do scroungers.
Did manage to buy a big radiator, 10 aluminum truck rims. Big cement mixer.
6 trailers, 4 hay bines, Gravity box, large roller, Harrow, and some large live edge lumber for a bar, and a couple scrap lots.
Good day.
The estate did well with the sale.

my new consul table I made for behind the couch... the whole genesis was the top board I found years ago on the beach.... all the rest is scrap wood, broken pottery, etc... all stuff I scrounged over time. I really like the old signal light from some old 50's car in the middle.
just for fun I painted the back that no one will ever see as it is snug behind the couch. And lit it up a bit for fun...

...and the rug was made by my folks back in the day. Every room in our house had those.
My great grandmother would crank out 10-12 of those every year, we had them everywhere, love it!

Very nice !! Superb craftsmanship !!

Off to do another auction pick up of silver plated items.
Then race home, call the tractor mechanic to view the New Holland hay bines, and if he wants to take off the wobble boxes to resell when he gets a repair in. (the resale for used parts is worth what I paid for the units for scrap.
Start to get some stuff picked up today and tomorrow.
