Tom

Cyndi and Evy,

This is in the wilderness area way behind Chapman lake.
It used to be a Boy Scout Summer camp in the 1930s and 40s.
It was in part built by the CCC.
Loaded with Green Cutthroat Trout (he said with reverence)

LOL
Thom

Her is a view of Chapman Lake.

I will dig up a few pictures of the Dam the CCC built to create this lake.
It is a miniature version of the Hoover Dam.

Pretty Cool I think.

Hey Thom,

Wow, it has been a real adventure to follow along with this story and imagine the peaceful feeling you had while taking those beautiful pictures. I have always thought East Tennessee was the most beautiful place in the country but I could be wrong..... :) :) :) Thanks for the "GRAND" tour of your stomping grounds. Have a great night buddy

I gave up trying to count them ,

I decided that it was much easier to share them,

and it makes a lot more sense.

that way we all get blessed a little.

Thom

You are Blessing us ALL more than you know! We are getting alot from these pics!

Looking forward to it! Thanks for taking us along! :D

Here is a photo I took this morning of the Grand Mesa from one end of our place just as a storm is rolling in.

I apologise for not getting back to this thread sooner.
Today was my Grandson's Birthday.
He turned four and I got to spend some time at his small celebration.

Just sign me as a contented Opa
