Tiny Sheetmetal screw

This little screw is about 3/8 long, and was found with my VX-9 on FAST mode. The plug was about 6 inches long, and this was stuck to the very bottom of the plug. That is no big deal, but the fact it measured a 92 certainly is! Why it measured that high is a mystery to me.

I swear its the jagged edges and points on rusty nails and screws. You induce a minute voltage the point amplifies the return signal. Back EMF of some sort.

Nearly all the old small iron I encounter comes up as a mid to high tone, but its usually very unstable jumping between numbers. I dig them anyway just in case there is signal masking something valuable nearby. Found a silver in the same hole as an iron nail a few days ago with that same unstable signal in an area completely choked full of jumpy mid-high tones that otherwise were all small rusty iron. I feel many would have passed it over.
