Todays finds with the Minelab Musketeer.Class of 1977 10K

Went back to the school/park I've been hunting lately. Still around two inches of snow on the ground but I don't care. I needed my fix. I like this musketeer more each time I use it. Cranked the disc way up again due to my laziness. My goal was to try for some deep silver again. Found a few wheaties and clad then I get a banging signal thinking it's another crushed soda or beer can. Flip out the plug and 5" down I see gold. Now here's the thing, I'm running the disc at around the 4:00 position and it still finds this monster class ring. What's better than that? Not digging much trash and still find the big gold. Anyway, it has the initials in it so now my quest to return it begins. Also found a small two piece button with an eagle on it. I got a call from one of my digging buddies while I was out there informing me that Sunday's relic hunt is cancelled. More snow on the ground out that way. So I guess I'll be going back to this place tomorrow morning. Works for me.

I was planning to go back to my old school campus and do hunt the field...but not for now, it is too many students still there for classes, sport events and cold weather....I better to wait till June, prefect weather and no students out there...

Thanks for the offer to be my cheerleader Rae, but I must decline. My wife is the head coach for the Pop Warner pee wee division, my oldest daughter is the junior demonstrator and the choreographer of their routine, and my youngest daughter is a cheerleader on the squad. I just got home from a Pop Warner banquent for my wife's squad who btw took 2nd in the nation. Needless to say I'm all cheerleadered out....Please no more cheerleaders. Ah!!!! When are you heading up this way to get together for a hunt?

Great finds there. Also a great looking ring.

Went out here for awhile yesterday, but quit after an hour or so, due to the fact the ground is frozen solid. Could only get down about 2 inches, and that was it. The ground was like concrete. Will have to wait a bit longer to really fix the craving. Keep posting, as that helps us get our fix.

I just got an email from the High School's Alumni Assc and they have it narrowed down to two possible people. We'll see what happens. I'll update as I get more info.
