WSD in his favorite cap :icon_thumleft: Great pic Steve, Thanks!!

Well, here they are, as promised....pics from the hunt....some of the first ones are of the detour Steve and I took before we got to Uvalde......Then some pics from the first day of hunting....it was a huge field, and finds were surprisingly few and far between....I t picked up some bullets, casings, shotgun brass, and the only coin of the day....a 1974 penny.....but nonetheless we all had a great day with awesome weather, and of course everyone in the Uvalde SIXPACK!! Pics will be over the next.... couple of posts...

Daddy so GREAT to see you!! Lookin for more great shots guys lets see your smiling faces! :icon_sunny:

Just as I suspected!!! You guys are flea marketing! You better be buying us La-La's some nice stuff!

I left a cable to download my pics at home so I will upload in the next couple of days, very sorry about that. You always forget something. WSD's pic was taken with my camera phone. The people here have treated us like we are somebody, great hospitality!!! At this point I can assure you another trip will be in the works, with more time for research it will be really cool. They have already gotten us two more places we can hunt next time and one of them the land belongs to the governor of Texas. I told you we would be using his heicopter...Lol!!! NEVER doubt the power of the SIX PACK as we have hit the beach running providing us with more places to hunt in the future. We have had one of the best times I've had in a long time, probably since Noodles, mega fun and laughs. You don't even care if you find something or not, its just plain ole fun!!!Finds have very tough but its hard to nail down the prime place on 600 acres....lol! The owners son is coming to eat breakfast with us this morning. I will teach him about detecting today and he is looking forward to it. He has the right mind set about history and he loves searching for arrowheads here, so I am planting the metal detecting seeds today and get him started on the right track. He is very excited about this and has lotsa friends here with land so he will be scouting for us. He already told us about a couple of places that were old settlements so that should be very cool!!
The finds have been scarce(but cool) but we have found an area with lots and lots of history and lots of potential. Our best find here has been the people and I think thats a pretty good find on any trip!!! Take care and we will get pictures in a couple of days.......

Six Packer,
Steve

Thanks Steve! But next time you will have to change the name to Twelve Pack because the La-La's will be going!

12 pack for the next hunt sounds sooooo very good !! Looking forward to when you all get home and rested and give us some pics! :icon_thumleft: :icon_sunny:

Am I understanding that the only treasure they've found ... so far is ... a 1974 penny?? Gals, we need to go show 'em how to do it!! :tongue3: ;D :D 'Daddy looks cool there with his sunglasses and umbrella, doesn't he? 8) Oh, it's not raining though. Must be a parasol, then! :laughing7:

Careful driving back, and Steve, find that cord!!! :hello:

actually there have been several great finds

from ancient to present, we even had such a find we needed a rather large shovel to get it out of the ground.

WSD found a place that is without a doubt one of the finest places to visit. Rich in history and rich in hospitality

The six pack gang ready for the assault :hello:
