I left a cable to download my pics at home so I will upload in the next couple of days, very sorry about that. You always forget something. WSD's pic was taken with my camera phone. The people here have treated us like we are somebody, great hospitality!!! At this point I can assure you another trip will be in the works, with more time for research it will be really cool. They have already gotten us two more places we can hunt next time and one of them the land belongs to the governor of Texas. I told you we would be using his heicopter...Lol!!! NEVER doubt the power of the SIX PACK as we have hit the beach running providing us with more places to hunt in the future. We have had one of the best times I've had in a long time, probably since Noodles, mega fun and laughs. You don't even care if you find something or not, its just plain ole fun!!!Finds have very tough but its hard to nail down the prime place on 600 acres....lol! The owners son is coming to eat breakfast with us this morning. I will teach him about detecting today and he is looking forward to it. He has the right mind set about history and he loves searching for arrowheads here, so I am planting the metal detecting seeds today and get him started on the right track. He is very excited about this and has lotsa friends here with land so he will be scouting for us. He already told us about a couple of places that were old settlements so that should be very cool!!
The finds have been scarce(but cool) but we have found an area with lots and lots of history and lots of potential. Our best find here has been the people and I think thats a pretty good find on any trip!!! Take care and we will get pictures in a couple of days.......
Six Packer,
