Speaking of girls,no,that's right,can't post pics from the Lunker's club,friday night in Uvalde.sshhhhhh!

This was one of the best!The people I had talked to this past month out there really did us up special on such short notice.Of course they were dealing with an old resident,ahem.The landowner was 200mi away on his 4500 acre ranch,so didn't see him.Did leave him a 30 pack tho,his brand.

Ok,I've had a few hrs sleep now.
If you want a hunt done right,who you gonna call? The Six Pack! I really,really enjoyed these guys.A great group!Almost like running a Day Care center.The 44 cal shell may really be rare.Shot from a colt that was only made for one year,but I'll let all that come from the guys.The people we met out there were super nice,just a great place to go to.And we did miss all of our rowdy bunch that couldn't make the trip.I want to thank the other five guys with me for making this a lot of fun for me and God willing,I'll make the next one for sure.I'm headin' for the coffee pot,bye.

Hope you made it home okay. Really enjoyed visiting with you and your gang. An interesting group.

Joanne may have told you about this. The guy that owns land next to Fort Inge will allow your gang on his place if he doesn't have a crop growing. Also, she is going to follow up on Governor Briscoe's property across the river from Ft. Inge.

Would you please send me the emails and names of the five guys that came to Uvalde. I'd like to send them a note thanking them for coming.

I started enjoying the vodka last night. Thanks and you shouldn't have done that.

Just talked to George,landowner.He was in great spirits and happy and wants us back.He said Eddie,his son,is all enthused also.
Talked to Joanne and she said if we come back,and she hopes we do,she will have the land next to Ft Inge lined up.BTW,her assistant,Debra,was eating at the Lunkers and saw us there.Said we were having a great time.

I think I'll be posting pictures for a week to spread them out...... We are sworn to secrecy about what was recovered with the backhoe. Let it be known that the "Six Pack" takes no prisoners when detecting. Nothing escapes us and we use whatever it takes to recover treasure. With that said, the pictures prove this. Since BEF found this and if he chooses to clarify what was there, it's in his hands!!

Baggins and I went exploring in Castroville, Texas about 50 miles from Uvalde and it was really cool. Lots of old buildings restored and we spent a good hour visiting with folks and finding out the history of this town. Well worth the stop and had a couple of shops with antiques from the area....really neat........
