✅ SOLVED What was this beer emblem attached to?

Appears to be made of thin aluminum. Thicker than foil, but, stamped, not cast. It has a couple of tabs top and bottom that I suspect was used to attach it. Slightly domed in shape.

What an interesting find....I take it you didn't dig that one up?

What you have is the cover emblem for a vintage (?) Schlitz Beer match safe.
The two little tabs secured it to the front of the case, and considering the tabs are
still there, yours may not have ever been used on a product.

Best I can determine is that it was from the early 1900's.
