For me tonight it was pork stir-fry; homemade. Yes, with real chop sticks. But, now it is time to relax. In the back are just some of my cookbooks.

Scott? Before my son went off to college, i made him a cook book, this cook book had all the simple recipes in it that he could fix and eat off of for a week if he wanted to. I guess im gonna have to send you some easy recipes, something you can cook and put in freezer bags and microwave when you get hungry. Save ya lots of money if you do that too.

Dinner, Fried Iguana, with Jicama, & local jungle greens, fresh caught Lagoon shrimp in a Palm heart salad, topped off with prepared green Coconut juice.

Join me Trish? Against my better judgement, you can bring hubby along also snifff.

One only uses Palm hearts to thin out a too heavily growing area, since it kills the Palm.

My work buddy just returned from visiting relatives in So. Carolina & as always brought me
back some of that Carolina BBQ sauce. This time it was some of 'Maurice's Southern Gold,
original & a bottle of 'Shealy's Vinegar & Pepper Sauce. Rare items up here & I wouldn't
sell them for $20 bucks each. I've had them before & will have some BBQ - - tomorrow.

The Chow Hall!! Chicken breast and veggies for the past 10 and half months. I have had every improvisation of chicken breast known to man!! Cant wait to get home and have something different!

Nope, only the ripe, brown coconuts do that, they are loaded with oil. As for the green coco nuts, you scoop out one of the eyes, slide in a tablespoon of sugar, cork, then set it out in the sun. When the cork flies off, it is ready to drink.

I thought about you today Scott while i was cooking lunch, we had chicken fried steak with cream gravy, fresh fried squash and a big ole pan of corn bread....mmmmmmmm it was sooooooo good! Bout to go and get a plate of left overs.

That's sweet of you trish. I have some of the recipes my Mom used to make. Since I really do like to cook, I learned them from her as I was growing up. Nothing fancy, but filling and delicious.
