Can't believe I messed up 500. Hit send instead of add. Anyway thanks to all you hunters and enthusiasts who have taught me so much over the last few years. I posted my first artifact here and now my collections is quite large. Hunting is slow here so not much to show but I'm getting my room together in the new house so soon ill have pix. Gotta have a nice place to display my artifacts from Steve and Steve. Thanks again guys! Lets keep it goin and hit 1000.

We've finally had more rain here, after a two year drought, and the hunting has been better this year! Unfortunately, work has picked up too, so I don't get to go hunting quite as often. But I'm not complaining. the foundry I worked for burned last Dec., and it was just the right time for me to become an independent moldmaker, and my own boss!! I still work with the same foundry, and have relocated with them into an old armory. I love the stone building!! Like a lot of you, I have an affinity for stones! My summer project includes building some stone/brick patios at my Mom's house. With tnetter Buckshot's help, of course! Here are some pictures, (I plan on posting pictures of this years finds when I can get all of Buckshot's and mine together for a good picture.)

Hope everyone is having a nice summer!!!

Guess I'll introduce myself :) My name is Heather Brown and my husband of 20 yrs. is Rick (he's floating around on here somewhere!). We are originally from South Bend, Indiana, but moved to Middle Tennessee (on KY state line) 15 yrs. ago. He works for the City, I'm a full-time late in life college student studying to be a Veterinary Technician with the hopes of landing a job with TWRA. If we are not out relic hunting, we are riding/conditioning/competing our horses in distance riding.

I've really enjoyed this site and hope to continue learning about my rocks :)

Pictured below is me, Rick, and our 9 year old daughter.

14 years ago today I somehow convinced my old lady to marry me. Feeling old and lucky. That's her and my son Isaak at my daughters graduation.

14 yrs married thats a long time.

Ironically, my wife and I had our 14th anniversary yesterday. We went canoeing/hunting with our dog. It was fun, but we didn't find much.
Anyway, congrats.
