Just working on some flakes I had laying around. Georgetown flint.

Are you moved in yet? I might have access to some Alabama flint cobbles. I have to see them yet but will let you know. If it is what I was told it is black with carmel swirls running through it and the size of a baseball. Sounds like a great looking stone from what I am told. I read where on the black flint from here you dont have to cook it be fore you knapp it. Ill post a pic as soon as I get one. Still waiting on seeing one of those cobbles. Might be a couple of weeks yet.

nice musky......we have them like that here in ND they thrive in some lakes and canals that have yellow perch and crappie for forage

Beautiful fish and a beautiful wife. Our muskys aren't that plentiful. You fish walleye?

hey hey ben
larson1951 is a walleye man a missouri river rat
i have fished many tournaments and placed good in most and won several
we have very cold water here and it allows for 'catch and release' walleye tourneys that have better than 95% healthy live release out comings
during certain times of pre-spawn, spawn, post spawn, pre-summer peak , summer peak, and fall turnover we use many methods
most useful is a 1/16 oz or 1/8oz jig or live bait rig of 4lb test and a 4-5 foot leader with no wire leader which you know isn't necessary w/a walleye
we use minnows leaches and crawlers and drift fish in 5-10 foot of water
also during more active times we pull floating rapalas upstream along shallow sandbars on the inside of bends in reduced current
sometimes use 1/4oz jigs in deeper water 15-25 feet but that usually results in small fish
sorry to ramble on here but you know you started a great 'who are you' thread....just sayin', just sayin' my friend
