Nice to see faces behind names. I still feel new to this site. On the other hand, I found my first point in the late 50's. I lived on a river and the farmer across the street had no electricity, no phone, kerosine lanterns for light, those really were the days, LOL, but he did have a field and an old part Swamp Yankee/part Narragansett took me to find that first point
Anyway, that's me in 2010 standing on the cliffs at the south end of Conanicut Island, at the entrance to Narragansett Bay. Check out the house sitting on the cliffs distant left. Location, location, location. LOL. It is huge, but then the mansions of Newport are less then a mile to left of where I'm standing. The other photo is this past Fall, looking beat after a beach hunt I guess.
