Can't afford to.....but can afford to go to these events.
We'll be so lucky to watch the event captured on their new $1700 iPhones.

Then again they filled the stadium for game 6 with the cheapest ticket going for $1600 average cost was over $2945 for game 7.
I watched the game basically for the cost of 1 hour of sleep-free.

Wow! I like AC/DC but I wouldn't pay that much to watch the Statue of Liberty spit silver dollars.

Well they are way beyond their prime. I was at the Highway to hell tour in 1979, Bon Scott was the singer, and Back in Black tour the next year... Brian Johnson the singer. Those were their 2 best albums and they kicked ass !!!
I believe 20 bucks or under ticket prices. Both were great concerts !!

The thing is there was a lot of the NOT swifts that were not rich, and were caught up in the mainstream hoopla of her being something. They even shut the main highway in Toronto down so she could travel to the stadium. Folks were going short on paying their bills just to go to see her-that's not right.

I saw AC/DC back in 1985 in Baltimore Maryland. Great show. Loudest concert that I ever attended. I think the tickets were around $20 -$25 back then. There’s no way I’d pay to see them again for those prices.

The prices are crazy, but I will state this fact. Once you watch a concert in the first few rows, you never want to go back to the cheap seats. When I was younger, I always got tickets on the lawn or at least 50 rows back. But one year, my girlfriend bought a pair of 3rd row tickets to see Skynyrd. The difference was incredible! When you're way back, you're just watching a concert, but when you're up close, you feel like you're a part of the show. You also get a chance to catch guitar picks and other memorabilia they toss to the fans. My brother actually caught a tambourine that Doug Gray (lead singer of The Marshall Tucker Band) tossed into the crowd! You can't put a price on memories like that...

I once went to a concert with front row seats. I must admit it was fun yelling out stuff like "you guys rock man" "oh yeah you guys sound even better when im bent" as the music played.
I got arrested!
The band said I was scaring the children and called the police to evict me.
It was a Wiggles concert. 🫤

Since I was young I've had an aversion to being in crowds..it's not claustrophobia,
but more like feeling like I'm being packed into a sardine can with a bunch of
strange people. I don't freak out...just hate being in that spot.

As a result, I didn't go to concerts, etc. BUT, I'm still a hard rock lover of bands like
Deep Purple, Sammy Hagar, Rush, AC/DC, etc. Only concert I ever went to was Brian
Adams, and then only at the insistence of my soon-to-be #2 wife. Hated every second
of it.

My idea of a concert was to come home from a hard day at work, smoke a couple
bowls, drop my head on a pillow with the huge Koss headphones on, and crank up an
album (or 8-track). No tickets to buy and don't have to contend with thousands of
people I don't know. Loved it then, and at 66 years old I still do....

I saw all those groups back in the day for cheap compared to now. My Led Zeppelin ticket was printed with a $7.50 price. That was marked out and restamped $8.50. Greed was raising its head even back then.🤣

AC/DC was the soundtrack of my youth. Still one of the greatest bands ever. Its a shame that they are pricing dedicated fans out of their concerts.
