Think I found the king of wheat errors-1955 Double die(UPDATE!!!)

Hello all. Shaking like a leaf right now. I think i found the rare 1955 Double die while going through some loose rolls tonight but want some expert opinions. Unfortunately, it has some damage, especially on the reverse. Please let me know what you think, MM2

Wow that looks great despite the tarnishing. I don't know much about error coins but that doubling is VERY prominent.

Thanks for the confirmation! It took me about an hour to calm down! I let out such a big yell when I found it, my wife thought i hurt myself. She thinks that i'm crazy getting so excited over a cent.

Thanks for the comments. I also posted this in another forum. Someone recommended getting it authenticated as he said there are counterfeits out there. Does anyone know anything about this and anything to look for?

Yes go to a coin shop and see if they think it's real. Also send it off to be graded.
