Whatever the composition of the beads there still unique, and if this is an intact rosary /prayer bead necklace ,i think the amount of beads is very significant, it makes this a rare example of history and worth studying i would think. Ive sent a new email to The MET medival department, and im trying to contact some other places again with the new hypothesis

2 photos by window light, and 3 photos , in a darker room by a lamp, to show how reflective it is,

I think is medeival, reclaimed gold and silver would be easier ro work with then brass, i can see color differences in beads making me think composition varies , some more grey some more brown.

I just found an image that matches the medal and cross beads, the painting -of St. Dominic!, holding prayer beads, by Giovanni Battista Pittoni Younger.(1687-1767)

If you were so interested,
Search "St-dominic, Giovanni Battista Pittoni Younger,
You can see heart medal is the same, even the same color in some of the photos, and it has a cross bead, I am un certain if i can post the image... Maybe someone more knowledgeable could let me know if its alright to post it.

Aparently the artist was in France around 1720, also in the time frame of this artists work, the rosary was already standardized by the pope, yet he painted a rosary of an older style?

Jeweler admited its hard to test low karat gold alloy, best he did was give me the name of a buddy of his that does auctions in florida, he also told me i can find an Xrf in Moncton New brunswick, wich is a two hour drive and 50$ to cross bridge, i hope to go there eventualy. Honestly there is only like 2 jewelry stores on Pei, and the pound shop clerks are all kids.. That dont know anything. I have checked with my university even, and the airplan manufacturers , nobody here tests metal alloy, i need to confirm details of wich bullion buyer in NB has an Xrf, then somehow i got get there....

When testing a relic you cant just go to any jeweler..
Most dont even give an item a second look if its not marked karat, i have rings he told me were likely 9k he didnt but them, and i have some probably that are very old british 5-6 k also,

Even if the jeweler or gd forbid the pawn shop says its gold how does that help me?? Only xrf will.. And even then. How? If its as old as i think, how? It just make it more authentic to everyone else, i have no doubt it is authentic... Only benefit i can imagine is if it tests for gold maybe an auction house may be more likely to accept it. When i figure out the alloy , will that help determin its origin, i doubt it..

None of the professors at the university knew anything or knew anyone who did, although they were all happy to see it after i sent them all the email and phone calls ,i did bring it in person, i said it was.my intent to have someone even a student, write a research paper on it, aparently thats hopeless, he said no one is studying this sort of thing ..
