Got this in a couple hours down at the creek. Panning and sniping. I didn't stay long because the water temp was in the 30s my hands and feet were really numb =P it was really worth it though!

N8Longly said:I was shoveling the overburden into a bucket and panning it out until I was on bedrock then I used a viewer and tweezers to scratch out the crevices then I used a hand dredge to suck up what I couldn't pick up with the tweezers.
mjarvis said:That's awesome I was just wondering how you went through your process. I'm wanting to o out and do some as well. What kind of hand dredge do you have?? I was wanting to get the sand and gravel hand dredge I'm trying to figure out which one to get thxs for the feed back!!!
N8Longly said:I made my own out of PVC pipe you could look up how to make your own on youtube or google it. I've never used that hand dredge before but I'm sure it will do the job.
N8Longly said:No I've never used the one you were talking about buying. I've heard good things about that one. Mine works good I use it all the time.
