Anybody payin attention

...Terry please don't be offended but I got to ask... Looking at your website it appears that you make your living through prospecting and a pay to play type of operation. The government is constantly changing the rules and making it more and more difficult for guys like you to operate. So why does it seem that you take great pleasure nearly all the time in being against the people you should be standing side by side with and supporting the invasive government thugs instead ? Just trying to understand what makes you tick.

You have no idea what I believe or who I stand with NHB, because you have already made up your mind about me. I think for myself, and don't feel a need to follow a crowd of Sunday patriots down a dirt road to nowhere. I have been in countries with governments that practice real tyranny and terror on their citizens who don’t toe the line, and the United States isn’t one of them – yet.

I’m no fan of the BLM, but I’m also no fan of arrogant rich ranchers that cheat their neighbors - and Americans at large, by not paying their fair share and then claim they are being persecuted unfairly by a vast government conspiracy. There are a few people willing to buy the complete set of government and corporate collusion conspiracy DVD’s the Bundy family is selling, I’m just not one of them.

I suppose I have a lot more faith in this great Country, our freedoms and laws, than some of the folks posting here. I’m not ready to strap up and start firing on Federal employees just yet. I still believe in my vote, and majority rule, versus a shooting revolution just because I disagree with the current administration and a valid court ruling. I didn’t agree with the judge in my divorce case, but I didn’t threaten to shoot her.

When I disagree with the BLM in Arizona – and I frequently do, I tell them so in writing. Sometimes it takes several letters from my attorney and a couple thousand dollars in fees to get my point across and educate the government lackey that is trying to screw me, but I chalk that up to the cost of doing business.

We disagree on many things NHB, that is just the simple truth.

THIS is what I was waiting for. TRUE heart and TRUE soul. Tomorrow when I am sober.

Feds abruptly end cattle roundup in Nevada

Federal land managers abruptly ended the roundup of cattle on public land in southern Nevada owned by a rancher who has refused to recognize their authority, citing a "serious concern" for the safety of employees and the public.
Bureau of Land Management chief Neil Kornze made the announcement Saturday morning as hundreds of people, including militia members, gathered near the roundup area to protest the removal of hundreds of Cliven Bundy's cattle.
The bureau also will release 100 of the seized cattle under a deal announced after protesters, some of them armed with handguns and rifles, headed for a corral outside Mesquite in an attempt to free all of the seized cattle, the Las Vegas Review-Journal reported. The bureau did not immediately return calls to The Associated Press.

Feds: Safety concerns led to Nevada cow release

Federal land managers say "escalating tensions" led them to release all 400 or so head of cattle rounded up on public land in southern Nevada from a rancher who has refused to recognize their authority.
Bureau of Land Management Chief Neil Kornze announced an abrupt halt to the weeklong roundup just hours before the release.

Terry I appreciate your straightforward answer and I even agree with the majority of it. I didn't see anyone advocating shooting federal agents but if they did I certainly wasn't one of them. I also still say the outrage shown by the public was because of the way the government handled it, not because they care about some old rancher and his cows. And once you understand that it makes no difference who was legally right or wrong.. 200 cops with automatic weapons, choppers, and who knows what else they had in reserve ? Really ? The government brought nukes to a knife fight and THAT is what needs to stop. You say I don't know anything about you or what you stand for. That goes both ways my friend. I'm a veteran and I'm pretty damn proud of our military and their capabilities. When we went into Iraq in the very beginning we overwhelmed them with our superiority and took the country with blazing speed. That is an accomplishment to be proud of. When you use the same tactics against a United States citizen on our own turf simply because he didn't pay his bills it can NOT be tolerated. His only "crime" is that he might owe the government a pile of money. I can't understand for the life of me why you don't "get" that.

NHB the problems in here (and out in lala land)are that some people think that because some people work for the U.S.,that right there, automatically makes them in the right for the simple fact they work for the U.S. Whether its something like this or the cop threads I use to post about innocent people being killed for no reason.Yup standing behind the farces that run the country,no matter what they do, makes you a patriot LMAO. Sorry folks you are grossly mistaken, standing behind corruption makes >>YOU JUST AS CORRUPT AS WHO YOU STAND BEHIND<<.

Another case of a extreme dictatorship squashing the rights of not just one rancher but every American...

More like, "Love of Steak"!

Let the BLM eat turtles......... :laughing7:

Actually PatCat it reminds me of Andrew J. Myrick who was a trader in Minnisota in 1862.He refused to give credit for food to the Dakota native americans that were starving on the reservation.Myricks infamous words "If theyre hungry let them eat grass or their own dung" came back to haunt him when the Dakota wars started soon afterwards. He was found dead with his mouth stuffed full of grass:laughing7:

There's right and there's rights.
I figure, they won the battle, will they win the war. When the BLM and law come back, with what kinda forces...... :icon_scratch:

I woulda thunk, grass, wasn't all he had in his mouth. 8-)
