I love his videos, he uses a T2 also.

He uses other machines too, he has videos of them? Might want to check youtube out again, you may have mis reported he uses ATG expressly.

I had one and did not like it although others swear by it. It is a good machine in the right hands but it just wasn't for me.

Ok haters, you're safe. After about a week of use, I can say " I LIKE IT, I REALLY REALLY DO!" I know I was using an older machine before, but the ATP is really impressing me with it's features. I always thought the sounds it makes in videos would be very irritating, but in actual use, the volume isn't nearly as loud as videos show. I have been running it in Pro Custom settings with iron audio on and have no problems at all with the sounds.
In short, save yourself postage, casca and keep the pulltabs and bottle caps, since I am finding my own, lol.
I had to add this to the post: The bottlecaps and tabs I am finding are much deeper and older now!

I had an AT Pro and loved it. It was great but I saw this little thing out there called a CTX 3030, so I sold my AT and put the money towards it and BAMMMM!!!!!!! I find more stuff with this thing and over the same ground I hunted out with the pro. You get what you pay for and since the pro was all I owned the transition was easy. It discriminates much better and it is crazy stable in salt water or anywa here for that matter. Thanks for letting me chime in. Jason

What is a deeper bottle cap lol, 5 inches lol. At 5 inches, the F75 will correctly identify everything in the hole. I feel bad if I dig all the bottler caps. We wouldn't have anything on this thread to post about. The truth is, if you know how to use your machine correctly, you can clean a area of most targets. I have some heavy hitters here, they leave the pennys, I know when I only find pennys, someone beat me to it. Its a game, kind of like my toy is better than your toy. Sometimes I leave a tell, a bottle cap, or piece of foil I know should set off most detectors. If its gone when I get back, you just know someone else hit it hard. My F75 is wearing out, having some issues, and still kicking butt out there. But Im gonna have to get a new detector soon. If you cant afford a minelab, get a T2 or F75, you wont be disappointed. But there is some awesome videos out there with folks using the AT Pro and AT Gold. Im fairly sure I could trip you up in certain conditions. I would like to see you at guys get excited about the hobby and not be such Boom Babys about the hype.

Unless stated its a waterproof machine the ctx 3030 & the Atpro can go up to 10' the others said up to there control boxes at most but ud obviosly not want to go that deep & risk braking ur machine

How deep is your bathtub, swimming pool? As a rule I dont hunt in the rain, I leave that for all thr AT Pro guys. I live in a desert, it rains 2 days a year, how water proof does it really have to be lol.
