I be 60 in Sept first started detecting with my dad back in 67 seems like it was an old archer kit or radio shack detector would only go couple inches deep

I am 30. My son who accompanies me is 10. He got a metal detector from his grandfather for this past Christmas and then I bought my own bout a month later. He can't swing his for long periods of time yet so I do most swinging with my uMax and he does most digging and works the pro-pointer. Teamwork.
