I think shawn was doing good from the beginning.
I still believe the producers held his totals back to create drama
in order to give the others a head start and Mr Gold the ability to
pull off the comeback. and earn his title again.

I can't help but like Vern, he blew so much money first few seasons,
he gotta be down yet, but he's happy. that shows he's got more money then brains
and likes to play

not like the Pomrakies who also are multi millionairs but always act like they are on the cusp of bankruptcy. the one thing i hate about rich people.

Shawn is tolerable, and I do like his "never say die" attitude.

I watch a lot of TV, especially in the winter months, so I DVR pretty much everything I watch because I can't stand wasting time watching idiots try to sell me something that I don't want (or need) in the first place.

On occasion I'll record a BSG, but, like Jeff, I hit the FF when Zeke, Emily or the three stooges of the Kelly family are on.

Vernon cracks me up, especially during his solo gig answering social
media in the bar. Rich or poor, he'd be there just because he has too
much fun doing what he's doing.
