Calling All Army Dawgies - When and Where did you go to Boot camp.

When I was last there they were only used for rotc people there for just a few weeks.

Lol no IED's is a great thing. Welcome home sgt major. Thank you for committing so much of your life to protect America. I often kick my own a@@ for not staying in.

I didn't have to go to Army Basic. I started in the Navy (boot in San Diego in June of '81), then changed to Army when I ETS'ed. Took a PT Test, then went straight to "A" School at Ft. Gordon. Jump School, 3/75th RGR, then on to 313th MI, then 1/319th AFAR (Ft. Bragg) until I got out.

31C with secondaries E and J. When in 3/75th field tested all sorts of new commo gear. First to take Litton Digital Manpack Radio on real world ops. Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay better than AN/PRC-77!
