Duckys Thread - Georgia Panning and Prospecting.

Some nice chunky pieces there...and I bet it starts to build up faster now!

What he said! That's definitely some chunky stuff Ducky...so wherever ya
got it go back and get some more...

All the clunkers came from some "unsearched" Yuba paydirt I bought when I picked up my first pan. Don't have the chunky stuff around here

Bummer...:BangHead:

That is some nice Gold prospecting and cleanup gear you bought! With all of the goodies that you purchased for yourself and since you still have $24 left on your' account, it might be time to get something for the wifey to keep her happy.

Good call Ducky!

Yehaw! got the wifeys permission to hit the creek tomorrow. only for 2 hours or so. Cant wait! i will be doing another video. Most likely going to explore some of the area looking for some bigger rocks and maybe even hand dredge some roots. hoping to find a section with some bigger gold, need more than that flypoop crap!

Le Sigh... canceled again :(

Awe man, sorry about that! I know that disappointment...

Not trying to rub it in or anything but I found my first picker yesterday. Can I get a Whoot Whoot! ;) I'll be posting a pic on my thread soon.

Good luck on getting some solid digging time in soon buddy, I'm rootin' for ya!

Haven't been out in a while but thought I'd add some of my other non gold finds while on that creek. Any ideas as to what it could be? It appears to be made of stone and has a metal rod through the center

Looks like you put that metal end in a drill and use this as a grinding/smoothing bit. Give it a try!

how much were the scales? look nice. I have one of the blue keene pans , I like it . It will be a good one for fines.I use mine panning concentrates, almost pure black sand . Once I get to about 1/3 left I finish it on the slick side -very slow and easy, does a great job on fly-poop gold .

Scale was like $13 I think on amazon

Just found my new water tight containers im taking with me into the woods...
