Duckys Thread - Georgia Panning and Prospecting.

Matches, and charred cloth (or you could make it bigger for larger items). great for fire starting even in the wettest conditions. i may be close to home, but i dont get any cell service under these dense trees and if something should happen, i dont want to spend the night in the dark with coyotes and mosquitoes.

Edit: not a bad gold container either :)

Just got my new hiking pack from an old German soldier I work with. It was military surplus in Germany many many years ago. Excited to use it. It's rubber embedded canvas I believe but it's 100% waterproof once the top liner is tied off.

Edit: i believe its a 50 Liter pack. thats huge, i can carry whatever i want into the woods with this thing.

Well I was hoping to go hit the creek tomorrow but alas, my streak of bad luck continues. My daughter thought it would be a fun ideas to let the dog off the leash and let him run around. Dog immediately took off into the woods. I lured him back to me and lunged to pin him down long enough to get the leash back on him. Amongst the struggle and lunging, I pulled something in my back. So much for the creek.... AGAIN....

Again, sorry to hear that DW. You will get out soon. I was supposed to be mining 2 days in riddle Oregon, and instead we showed up at the other destination 2 days early because I forgot my claims guide at home. I'm hoping to do a little digging on the way home, but who knows?... Best luck to your next dig duck.

Duckwalk -- if needed here goes: strong pain relieving cocktail without a prescription: 2 Motrin + 2 extra strength Tylenol taken together.

You can mix these because Motrin (ibuprofen) is metabolized in the kidneys; Tylenol (acetaminophen) the liver. If you get TMJ -- excruciating jaw pain -- the choice is this pain reliever cocktail or percocet. And who wants to go to urgent care feeling like crap for a prescription ... It'll work on all sorts of aches & pains.

Remember guys, no alcohol with Tylenol; liver may call for a timeout.

You're young -- you'll be back to shoveling in no time.

Sorry to hear of your misadventure Ducky :(

Anniversary was good. The wife let me sleep in and made me breakfast. We hung around the house with the kidos and I did some yard work she has been asking me to do for weeks. Then I made her dinner... Hamburger helper... Would've taken her out for sushi but boy are we broke lol
