Glad to see it on the banner! That is a beautiful piece.

Chong, I noticed the tag line on your picture, that's one less Lindenmeier type out there for you to find... Quit slacking and get out in the sand! ;D

Made my first Banner vote since coming to this site for that point! It and you deserve it! Good luck!

Lol, Josh, i got halfway there this year, im just as happy for him to find it :) I was actually pacing and got chills when i spoke on the phone lol. As long as im up for next year, its all good :)

Congrats on your banner find! :headbang:

Congrats on the Banner!
I dont know that much about points but I know a thing of beauty when I see it. The person who crafted that was surely the michelangelo of his day!!!
Awesome.

that's one of the best points i've ever seen.
ridiculous! huge congrats. :notworthy:

Congrats on making the Banner. That is without a doubt the best piece I have ever seen on any board. If that hadn't made the Banner I would have enever posted here again. lol

Just an awesome find MANCHU. I guess those sand storms really moved some sand around for you and exposed that beauty. That Point just proves that there are still some fantastic pieces waiting to found be us.

Dude, you must be living right!
That is the most beautiful folsom I have ever seen.
Congratulations

I don't know my Folsom from a hole in the ground, but it appears that the people that do know their Folsoms think this is a sweet find.

Congratulations on the banner and thanks for the education. :icon_thumleft:

That's the best personal find I've ever seen. Absolutely beautiful. Congrats!!

Best of the best....superb, outstanding , thats the ONE!

For non-rock hunters - you can google Folsom Point and find lots of information about them They right around 10,000 years old. In the infancy of archeaology as a science all fluted points were commonly refered to as 'Folsom points'. From a craftsmanship, utilitarian and artitistic point of view they are amazing points. And not to cheaped the find by bringing money into it, but points like this often bring several to many thousands of dollars and can reach into 5 figure range. I only bring the money side up because when I see button's or civil war relics or european artifacts that I know little about it's something that crosses my mind. It doesn't measure rarity but it can provide some information on collectability. For what it's worth I've never bought or sold an artifact. For artifact hunters in the southwest US this is the holy grail. It's a remarkable find.

I know nothing about them but it looks like an awesome find....congrats.
