I am sharing a piece that makes my blood curl, so I keep it out of view.

Looks like Post comments were edited? Reason? I never have a problem of re-posting artifacts and I forget what I have posted and not. But when editing a post and all together changing the content "fully" should be explained why. Editing a post for spelling or grammar I see no reason for comments.
When you completely change a post and have posted comments from other members, their comments become out of context. Continuity of a thread that other forum members read should stay intact, or explained why the change.
Thats my .02 cents worth.

I just think it is weird that you saved something I posted 1 year ago. Folks, their are some weirdos that save every single post on this forum. I am not one of them ....I have a life.

Umm, every post is saved. Members are just fortunate enough to be able to access them.

So... Your one of those freakish people who save every single post. I am sorry but that is weird in so many ways.

In this quote above, you are replying to yourself, yourself having said "LOL Thanks". Some people would think that "weird" in its' own right.....

Great axe ! Any idea what the divot is for ?

Not sure how a utilitarian tool makes one's blood boil ,and then be liked by the same individual....

The divot if pecked might make a good bearing block for a bow and spindle for fire starting.
Seems it would have been discolored from fat /lube to reduce friction, and from wood fibers .

This entire post appears to be a reconstruction or fabrication...:dontknow:

Whats the point?

I don't think it's a point.
It's an axe , or something....

Why does this axe make your blood curdle exactly?

my question also.

I'm not sure why all the Rude comments above either Though :(
I wonder if they would like rude comments to all their Finds posts.

Wow lots (o) drama over a very nice axe.. I can't wait to find one myself.. I'm confused for sure lol.

I don't get it? I guess put what ever price you want. You sound like a proud papa of an artifact you post on E-bay. and you post it on here to tell us that your the grand collector of all time?
For me I am just a poor collector that, I am proud of what I have collected. and none of it is perfect. I do not need to told what a nice artifact is.
JMO And maybe I read your comments wrong and if so than I apologize.[/QUO

There are people on this board that pay many bucks for not just a single piece, but for entire collections. I didn't mean to go all crazy on this axe. I have better. This is the perfect opportunity, I can use a sophisticated word. NEOPHYTE, there are many of them, time to learn: There are many people on this board that can inform.

I shouldn't have read this thread.

Anyone want an orange? They are those little "Halo" oranges; pretty good!
