If our constitution remained the same, what would you expect.

let's talk about the day our constitution was written. There has been re-write upon re-write. What could we expect if it never had any amendments?

Think about it this way.... Imagine if George Washington could see the world we live in today. What would his first words be seeing a skyscraper, an airplane, or a car cruising by at 100 miles an hour? What would he think of the music, how we now fight wars, or even what we eat? There's no way him or anyone else could have anticipated civilization as we now know it, so without amendments too many bad things would happen that wouldn't make sense. Kinda like Katrina, or the oil spill, seems there's always too much red tape blocking the way and I know I wouldn't want to live in a world where that was the norm..

The principles of the constitution should never be broken, but it is constantly being "re-interpreted" by the SC and activist judges. The recent 2nd amendment finding is a case in point.
