I have an elderly lady close to me who ordered a custom toy box from me for her great Granddaughter and wants me to deliver it to her because she cannot drive anymore. My husband, Jonathan, passed away this morning. It has only been 10 days since we were told that he had terminal liver cancer. We had plans on doing some things together before he got too sick and that just didn't happen. He was only home for 7 days and went back to the hospital this past Friday. I can't even comprehend what has taken place the last two weeks........

Lady Pirate, What can I offer? Greeve and heal then start planning for your future. When My wife passed, it was 2 months before I could go back to work. If I didn't have the 5 kids, I would not be here today. In life we have to accept what comes our way. I think it balances out, but it takes time. Love and hope to you, Frank

words seem so inadequate at times like this, I do pray that our Lord puts His loving arms around and comforts you, that He gives you healing and strength. He does tell us that if we are His, He will never leave or forsake us, that He is always with us no matter what. it took me a while to understand that I didn't have to go through my hard times by myself and that I can lean on Him.

I was always astounded when I lost someone that the world just kept on going when I was in a world of hurt and confusion, I think it is a sign that we are supposed to go on as hard as it seems at the time.
