Legit source for small gold nuggets (gifts)?

Looking for a couple small nuggets...really more like pickers...for gifts to my son and niece this Christmas. Growing up my dad always got me a snow globe each year (among other gifts,) which I have always appreciated...but it's not really something you can display year round. I thought it would be neat to get my son a little piece of gold each year instead. As he gets older I'll get him larger and larger chunks (maybe even find a few myself...ha.)

Anyhow, anyone know of a reputable website or someone local in the Denver area that sells something like this? I'm thinking in the neighborhood of $50-100 a piece is what I'd like to spend. Thanks in advance for any help you all can provide.

Ebay?

I've bought from nuggetsbygrant a couple times. He's got all shapes, sizes available. No issues other than a nugget that was a tiny bit short on weight. After contacting he quickly sent a PayPal refund slightly more than cost difference.

I've only bought for small mesh for practice panning smaller nuggets for metal detecting practice targets.

Have you thought about specimen gold as an alternative? Makes for a nicer looking gift most of the time.

Too me at least something like this looks much nicer than a similarly priced nugget.

I guess depending on a nuggets shape they can be somewhat attractive looking.

Do you live near any State Historic sites or museums? They often have a gift center. Most in CA have gift shops that often sell nuggets and specimens for reasonable prices sometimes. One company that I've seen supplying specimens to a couple different places was Northern Nevada Gold.

Lots of gold found in Colorado so I'd imagine there would be local buyers that most likely are sellers also. Local gold clubs might be able to point you in the right direction.
