Newbie Finds First Two Silver

[joesch_1999]

Found a 1940 walking liberty and a 1944 Washington quarter in the same hole next to a piece of Iron. The Minelab SE rocks, the spot I hunted has been hunted to death, there were three guys in the area I found these in, I decided to go over and give it a shot where they were, my buddie had the ace 250 and he just picked up the Iron the SE gave off three distinct sounds when I waved the coil over the hole, the walking was not even half a inch away from the iron and the quarter was about a half inch away from the walking 9 inches down, can't say enough about the SE what a great machine.Very exciting for me, broke my cherry LOL.

Good deal. Congratulations. My first silver was a Merc. You will always remeber your firsts. The Minelab's are good machines. Key is to know your machine. Looks like you have the knack.
