I moved ya Oak Island Article (dated: November 25, 2008) from GENERAL DISCUSSION over to TREASURE LEGENDS > OAK ISLAND for more exposure.

For those who think or believe a treasure is buried on OI I have just one simple question. What treasure are you referencing or why do you continue to believe this after 200+ years of searching...? What treasure do you believe exists in this random spot vs any other random spot...?

And 28 different expeditions have turned up zilch. Perhaps this unknown treasure buried for unknown reasons and made impossible to recover for unknown reasons is . . . bullshit? The evidence for just that is more than compelling. But keep trying. It sells commercial spots on weak networks.

My rules are as fallows ! Before i go searching for a treasure I make sure it exists and how it was acquired

How would anyone "hunt" a treasure if it doesn't exist? Maybe just dig random holes...?
Pretty much so..A few years ago, a colleague in our MD club found a cache of 300 Roman silver Denari coins while on a club dig.

Last week I was out with another MD club on a dig local to me when two separate Roman hoards were found maybe 70 yards apart...These were small and only contained 20 bronze coins in each, so we're likely votive offerings...

I have a personal permission where a BA socketed axehead was found by chance...When the socket was cleaned out, it was found to contain (IIRC)a squashed BA torque and a couple of other BA gold items....

They virtually did, the 90' stone said, "40' below, 2 million pounds are buried.", good enough for me.
If there is even a shred of truth re the finding of the 90 foot stone, it didn't have that written on it at all...It allegedly had a series of cryptic symbols which have subsequently been "interpreted" to give the phrase you mention. My own theory is that the symbols actually meant: "Beware of Flooding!"

They virtually did, the 90' stone said, "40' below, 2 million pounds are buried.", good enough for me.
So someone at sometime wrote something on a stone to promote something that someone suggested that it might be there in the beginning.
Yet there was nothing, and to this day there has been nothing.
2 nothings don't = a something except to a feed lot of armchair viewers looking at a nothing, getting subjected to advertising.

But there is something to be said about everytime this subject regarding OI cools down-a new member posts another thread about the Same Old $hit.

Proven facts many times over.

Your buying that stone thingy hook, line and sinker.... many folks did...? Probably brought in more funding to look for what...? It's all a myth and fantasy.... WHAT TREASURE IS ANYBODY SEEKING....?

I don't think anybody is upset over somebody looking for a treasure. But nobody even knows what their even looking for on OI. They don't know what treasure, who put it there or even if there is one. There all over the place on a hope and a prayer drilling and digging for..... WHAT?

maybe they have a secret....

maybe they have a secret....
Believe me "they" have no secret...! It's no secret 10's of thousands are paid to them per episode thru advertising to find artifacts now. And occasionally a coin "Roman Baby"...! I'm sure more random holes will be drilled next season.
