Need help with this map... to me it looks like 3 hills, a water source like a creek, then 1 hill. on my property I have 3 hills to the west, a large creek, then 1 hill on the east. Unsure if Native American or what... Thank you:hello2: 20160912_155432.jpg 20160912_160255.jpg 20160912_160555.jpg 20160912_160916.jpg

I'm still trying to decide if this is just the greatest treasurenet troll-session of all time, or if I truly don't have a deep connection with sedimentary rocks. I've truly enjoyed every page. It's a colorful world out there and you never know who you're going to meet, so just enjoy it. That's what I take from this thread. That and maybe the fact that I might not be enjoying some of the natural 'gifts' this world has to offer as others do. #420

Why didn't I see this before. I was looking at the tile on my bathroom floor and if you look closely it clearly says there's a treasure buried under my septic tank. On my way to home depot now to rent a shovel and a bobcat to dig up the yard.

Well you guys are missing the point and that is just go to the real treasure treads such as I posted before and run your mouth see how fast your kicked out of there. This is a know history that apparently you don't know about. You can blame us for an over imagination or your lack of history. It doesn't bother me in the least. On the last picture I only made the circles nothing else. So look at

Can you post the links to the threads again? I would like to read them. I've read every post in this thread and I didn't see where the "real treasure threads" were linked. In regards to the picture I made, I did what you have been telling us all to do throughout this whole thread and that is to "think outside the box". I did that and I came up with something completely different than when you thought outside the box. These rocks are subjective and open to interpretation. So you cant tell me I am wrong because I saw something different than you did... I just thought outside the box in a different way than you did.

It looks like a rock to me. What you did is decided you wanted it to be a turtle, so you selectively picked out the features of the weathered rock that supported what you wanted it to be. This is just like laying in the grass and looking at clouds. You can pick any cloud and it can look like many different things, to many different people... it just depends on what features of the cloud each person wants to favor. So its just a rock and you have an imagination.

To show you what I mean, I decided I wanted your "turtle" to be a tree with a pond behind it and grass in the foreground. I still only highlighted the weathered features and cracks of the rock without making things up. I also thought outside the box, so your "turtle" is as much a "turtle" as it is a tree, growing in a field with a pond behind it. I could pick any other set of features on this rock and use my imagination to make it anything I want it to be just by highlighting the things that support what I want. Just like laying in the grass and looking at clouds.

I can definitely see the pond and tree. Or maybe a mushroom growing out of a cow pie.

A very interesting thread. I'm still confused why anyone would reasonably think that's some sort of treasure map. Sure... it COULD be... but that's like saying, I could be an astronaut. It COULD happen, but the likelihood is less than 1 in 7 billion (which is most other people on the planet)... come to think of it, it's probably more like one out of 10 billion, which would include aliens.

Just because something is POSSIBLE... doesn't make it PROBABLE. To pretend otherwise.. is just well... Sometimes I can't express myself well, so let's let this video do it for me...

Maybe the mods could move this ridiculous "tread" to the "North American Indian Artifacts" section so the rest of us don't have to see this "tread" top posted day after day...

It's no longer a "today's find", it's a 20 page diatribe against the stone map non-believers. Every rock this guy picks up is a treasure map and we're all just too dense to see it. Right...

Did I miss something? I started with a mapstone and ended with a bird and nest stone.....

I second this - I would love to see some of these proven threads.
