My oldest brother was supposed to be taking care of the place after Pops passed away.

I doubt we would have moved here had I known about the state of disrepair.

The ship may creek and make sounds... and a leak here and there...

She will stay afloat and still move along...

Its the patches in our minds that will mend her... always giving her the ability to sail into the another sunset upon the horizon.
Where...
Like a familiar comfy blanket it will always wrap us together and give us some solace...
that something familiar and different exists...
that only exists because...
We want it to.
