Penny picking kind of a day. I got just about the same in pull tabs, but I threw them in the recycling bin.

I thought I was on Oak Island earlier. I spent hours with nothing to show for it. Somehow I couldn’t make it look as glamorous as they do… Production value, I guess. 🤣

Me too! If had commercial backing from Laphroiag and Land Rover I would be thrilled to find little chunks of wood. Or Chevrolet and Tetley’s. I’m not fussy! They do entertain a lot of folks. We have a saying in parts of the southern USA, “bless their hearts!”
The nuances to that saying tell it all. Hard to explain. 😀

Well yesterday was given a box random glass bottles that my step father had been given. His brother had found them in the house he'd moved into and he didn't want them. Took the most interesting ones last night and put them in a tub of water, vinegar, and a small amount of bleach. Cleaned up the ones I though were most interesting today and I think though mostly plain stuff a few have a little bit of age and I think one is at least mid 1800s. Threw away a few more modern ones that had been mixed in. Kept the not so old Pepsi ones for the heck of it. I'll put up some pictures in a second nothing super great but eh they were free.

Here's some pictures I think the two in the first picture up front are the more interesting ones. One has the brand name on the bottom and the other the mold seam only comes up part way on the neck and is full of tiny bubbles.(so possibly mid 1800s my bottle knowledge isn't the best).

Firstly, love them! Second, I don’t know enough to be able to say from pics, what’s good, what’s not. I like the bubbly, curvy one that you’re holding up, the big whiskey, the hires, and the brown beer. You’re young enough that if you hang onto the Pepsi bottles, they may bring some $$$ . They may now for all I know. I’ve got a bunch of modern pop bottles. Nice score!

Anyone have any idea about this glass mark. Found it on the side of the bottle I thought would be older but maybe not now that I found a mark. Took multiple pictures of it pain in the butt to get it clear.
