It's been awhile since I posted up any pictures of munchies I've whipped up. Well tomorrow is my pub outing and since they don't have a kitchen I usually pack a lunch to go with my libations.

So looking through the fridge grabbed a big fat carrot and a left over celery root from the garden that should be used. Chopped up a green onion tossed it in the bowl, cubed up some feta cheese. peeled and grated both the carrot and celery root and tossed it in.

took a couple of clementines and segmented and chopped them up and tossed them in. Followed by some lemon juice, olive oil, salt, pepper and dried parsley. Voila a lunch fit for a king or queen that didn't break the budget.

Rusty,

I don't get it either there's postage stamps from WW11 up for auction and obviously they have the nazi insignias on them and others with pictures of Hitler likewise for coins.

Ebay took down my Nazi patch, because it violated their policy. It was offensive. Oops. I shoulda checked to see if I could list stuff like that in the first place.

But then again, why do they have a German WWII category if I'm not allowed to sell anything German WWII? :icon_scratch:

Yeah, that don't make much sense.

By the way, I did see some third reich stamps yesterday, would you be interested in those next time I go by?

Rusty,

Thanks for the kind offer but I can generally pick them up on ebay dirt cheap from Europe with minimal postage. But I do have a few old Canadian tokens if I can find where I stashed them. Not great value but maybe you can use them for trading bait on you scouring wheeling/dealing outings.

I'll send you a pm if/when I find them.

I'm not sure about Canadian ones, but while I was in a shop yesterday, a man walked in, and paid $550 for a bunch of coal mining tokens.

"We're tenting tonight on the old camp ground
Give us a song to cheer
Our weary hearts, a song of home
And friends we love so dear

Many are the hearts that are weary tonight
Wishing for the war to cease
Many are the hearts that are looking for the right
To see the dawn of peace
Tenting tonight, tenting tonight, tenting on the old camp ground

We've been tenting tonight on the old camp ground
Thinking of days gone by
Of the loved ones at home that gave us the hand
And the tear that said "Goodbye"

Many are the hearts that are weary tonight
Wishing for the war to cease
Many are the hearts that are looking for the right
To see the dawn of peace
Tenting tonight, tenting tonight, tenting on the old camp ground

We are tired of war on the old camp ground
Many are dead and gone
Of the brave and true who've left their homes
Others been wounded long

Many are the hearts that are weary tonight
Wishing for the war to cease
Many are the hearts that are looking for the right
To see the dawn of peace
Tenting tonight, tenting tonight, tenting on the old camp ground

We've been fighting today on the old camp ground
Many are lying near
Some are dead and some are dying
Many are in tears

Many are the hearts that are weary tonight
Wishing for the war to cease
Many are the hearts that are looking for the right
To see the dawn of peace
Tenting tonight, tenting tonight, tenting on the old camp ground"
