Me similar. Been real sick and in pain since tuesday here. Spent the whole day in hospital yesterday getting checked out. CT scans on my neck next week as the Dr thinks my badly damaged vertebrae in my neck have deteriated and are causing serious nerve issues. Massive pain in my neck and I am constantly feeling like iv woken up with the worlds worst hangover. Head feels like its been hit by Mike Tyson in his prime.
Those unearned hangovers are no stranger here either.

Friend was solo suddenly a while back and stated a need to relocate/move.
With low funds.
Thing is a needed neck surgery was scheduled for this past Tues..(I think Tues.)
Prior plates have broken in the past and things were a mess.

Anyway no contact for a while and he hasn't been posting on his business site.
Should call today and try to find out what's going on.
Don't want him alone or worse too hungry , or needing a ride ect..

Rain started again; hardly a breeze and the rest of that big oak top fell. It barked another big oak and smashed some smaller trees.
Shook the ground but fell away from the pole barn and stuff. Even left the fence alone.
I didn't go out and look up close.
But can go out there without watching for it to fall like I been doing.

Good morning. All packed up and ready for the 7.5 hour drive today.
The first part is the worst part. Once Las Vegas valley is in the mirror it should be smooth sailing through the dez until Reno.

My grandson is very slim like his father who is 6'-7". I fully expect him to grow more. If you’re a tall girl that is a good thing.
Makes you wonder where he’ll top out. I’m pushing 5’6”. I looked at a chart and that puts me about 2-2.5 above average.

That’s it! Sad song, but he does a brilliant job of putting an image in my mind about what he looks like.
Great Uncle's long ago songs list (I can recall some family events and music) has Big Bad John on it.
Many years later a tiny used car sales place I/we bought a Buick Regal at had an old record player with a 45 of Big Bad John on it.
A young salesman played it after each sale of his.
I don't recall why that song anymore...

That is an odd choice. I just looked at the lyrics and can’t figure out a way that is relevant. I may try it while working out one day.

I bid a deck right on the ocean, water 80 feet away. Lady asked how to prevent all paint/stain from being "storm" removed in just 2 years, I told her... move inland! :laughing7: The salt water infused storms are a pain!
She informed about this informative (all in my head already as I research) but useful article....that i already have bookmarked along with about 20 like articles.

Rich people move here to Florida all the time & of course many choose to live right on the beach. An extremely harsh environment for a house or any building. The salt permeates everything & they cannot understand why they are replacing everything every couple of years. Electrical fixtures & HVAC take a real beating. Constant maintenance barely keeps up.
