Very interesting bill. I feel better already. Seriously I have a flock or gander whatever around here. The main reason is my pecan trees. They have a big time feasting in the fall of the year.

Button patant date 1924 first button iv found with a pat date any of the RCT crew recognize it?

Toecutter odds are that button came off of a jacket or jean shirt. Hard to tell the age as that style is still made today.

Yeh thats what I figured, I dug others that look like this but didnt have a pat, date, it rang up like copper but feels/looks like aluminum and looks to have bin painted, the homesite was on a 1920s map but not the 1880s map... was just interesting to me to have the pat date of 1924...

Toecutter like bill was saying it probably is a jean or shirt button. Looks fairly modern but with closer pics someone might pick out a feature that could help.
