Ziggy my pitty made the top 20! So we'll see if he can win! He has votes from as far as Australia! My buddy down there has all his friends and family and his sons military unit voting!

These are my former working dogs. Both are trained a bit differently. The 1 laying down is excelled in training so she and I did more specialized training.

Im so sorry for your loss! I know how hard that is! Gorgeous pup!
It took me 3yrs after my 1 pup passed to even acknowledge another dog! So my heart goes out too you!
The big male...Diesel...will be 8 soon. The smaller one laying down....Dakota..is 7.

Just as I was ready to go outside and do some quick chores the wife goes to a doctor's appointment!
So no hunting today. Tomorrow I get an estwing 22oz rock hammer/pick and an estwing GAD pry bar. So those will go with me Wed and Thursday. Then the rain comes! So this week is my chance! Next week its raining and cold and im a princess! So ill be indoors aggravating the wife!
Pretty sure she's gonna make me finish hanging all my movie props and autographs in the basement man cave.

So cute! I cant stand it!

So a bit more about me. We rescue dogs and give them a forever home! We take dogs from full shelters to open up more spaces. We are currently at our max! As they pass on We will not be adding to the pack. We want our time eventually...lol! Then we plan to adopt elderly or dogs that have been in shelters for a long time.
How many dogs do i have!? More than most shelters! All go to the vet and are way to spoiled!

Well, third outing with my new HF2 coil on the D2 and still no coins!
Actually dug a lot of good sounding signals and in a place I've hunted several times though. Just didn't have the luck I suppose.

Tight wads lived there I tell myself. Or they're all hidden in one spot in a jar!

14 hrs of kitchen duty today.
Made up a large batch of Haskap candy.
Cooked squash again.
6 qrts of thick squash ginger soup
16 pounds of butternut meat in the freezer.
Got tired so I'll clean the other half tomorrow. 😴
Got myself a fishing magnet delivered to the door.
The Mrs queried me about the 10 batteries I bought. They were the 2450 wafer size for the alarm system.
"$140+ they were expensive"

No dear the batteries were $10.50.
The magnet was......🤣
"Well you better get out there this year then."
Man in kitchen can do no wrong.

Online 10 batteries for $10.50
Local store 1 battery $10.72

Battery prices can be a rip off. Other than AA's or AAA's at Aldi I get all others online. 50c per button battery online vs $8 in a shop. Same brand too. So 10 buttons online delivered for 5 bucks. Still cheaper than 1.

Wife finally got home and then asked my plans for tomorrow? I told her and she said thats fine,but you need to be inside and shower before my workday ends! Why? The new Predator movie will be on-demand and I know you wanna watch all the old ones 1st!

That would be whats left.of her favorite log! She used to have a huge log she would carry around. Over the years it got smaller and smaller.

My dog loved plastic buckets. He'd go through a 9 litre bucket every fortnight.
Buckets were always on the shopping list.
Its how I stopped him destroying things. As long as he had something to chew on, put teeth holes in and destroy he was happy. 😄

That or they were just too poor to have any coins, or really good at not losing them. (I think most places I hunt had people with both problems -- not many coins to lose, and what few they had, they kept good track of.)

My little sister the youth worker rescues and re-homes dogs too. Been doing it for about 20 yrs. She rescues dogs that are abused and mistreated. She's on a list and gets calls from council Dog rangers when they go to places after reports of abuse by the public.
