We bought 2 LED bulbs probably 15 + yrs ago.Then they were $18.00 each. Probably weigh nearly a 1/2 a pound. I have been burning the same bulb in the barn for 15 hrs a day now for 6 yrs.
Have the other one someplace in a lamp in the house.
Built to last probably, I forget the amount of hours they rated the bulb for, but it was really a longtime.
Now I mention it, the sucker will pop tomorrow. 🤣

I purchased a few LED shop lights that the bulb can not be changed, they are supposed to last that long they claim. They look like the old 48" florescent shop lights. I have a couple of floor lamps and the bulb is not changeable they are supposed to last "forever" Hmmmmmmm.....

I have a 5000 lumen trouble light on a tripod.
Too bright actually (white), I'm installing a dozen pots that can be turned on in series.
They'll be up 10ft so it should work.

Well that all has been a bit of an anticlimax! Broken washer dryer red alert, sirens going off, scramble the jets, new ones ordered, and..............it took 10 minutes to fix.
🫤 What a waste of popcorn.

Yeah. I really really didnt expect to fix either. The part for the dryer showed up after I ordered the new one. Well it plugged in and worked. So the cold water in the washing machine was just trickling out so I decided to give it a try! Cleaned a mesh filter and magically it came back to life!!! So I canceled my order.
The wife is amazed!
Im not handy or atleast I dont like to be! Only things I like to build,repair, or modify are firearms. Everything else i usually choose to pay someone to do it or just buy a new whatever it is I need.

Dryer was a new door sensor and washer was clean the mesh filter where the cold water enters the machine.
So simple! Im still amazed i got it all working!

Did laundry today....lol! Finally started ordering parts for a shotgun build im doing. Wife wasnt thrilled about it! Just wait till she finds out how much the barrel will cost! The Chisel folding stock almost caused a war here! I had to get negotiators to bring peace!

The only hope for any semblance of domestic tranquility is to keep the peace.
But a shotgun addition is vital to homesteading too.
After all ; redundancy is greater security.

Yeah, I used to have a number of tracks that incorporated Aussie Aboriginal didgeridoo with modern kind of relaxation music. It was amazing how well they went together. I lost it and cannot find them anywhere on the Internet. There are some others with it mixed with trance music and other stuff but not what I had.
I don't mind some types of music mixing the old traditional instruments with the new.

OV, stay the hell away from those shrooms..tried them, once, when I was about
35. Spent a few hours in the vomitorium, and that was all that happened. Buddy
offered then to me again a week alter.....NOPE, Nope, nope, nope, nope.....Never again.

If she pushes it ill purposely break things,do it wrong,buy the wrong thing,or purposely screw an order up...you get my point...lol!

So 1 night they all gave me thier orders and no one got what they wanted! It took about 3 trips,but they learned.
