Good morning folks !! We here are waiting for the storm. Anyone have it yet ?

Depends on your point of view. They’re calling for a few days of single digit temperatures and six to twelve inches of snow. People are freaking out about it. Panic shoppers emptying Walmart of water, eggs, and toilet paper. The Missouri governor even declared a state of emergency (yes, really) based on the forecast. Im not sure what the big deal is. I guess people have just gotten used to the milder winters in recent years. So far this just looks like what I’d expect from winter.

Anyone that actually has some skin just knows that all of the forecasting is like everything else.
To install a good dose of fear in all the scared half glass people.
Though I took the boys out on the porch to turn on the barn light. (With the remote)
Took this quick photo.
Conclusion-boys aren't going to be playing outside today.

Yes, decaf...sadly. Meniere's disease made me give up two things I sorely miss..
..caffeine and alcohol. Both were major triggers for vertigo attacks lasting 8-12
hours...

Ultimately decided I'd rather not have my head spinning constantly, but I sure do
miss a shot of Yukon Jack in the evening.

Fully understand now why you can't have any of the nectar from the heaven that has been the given to all mankind to kick start their day off, and to keep it going. The smooth notes of many different types of this endorphin stimulate nectar that fuels the world.
So sad-really too bad-but I will think of you when I have my next mug full of this nectar from the heavens that's so mellow/creamy tasting/with notes of my Kick Ass Freshly ground coffee.

Par for the course these days. Keep them in fear of climate change. Im sure you noticed like us here much of the wording of things have changed to ramp it all up. We used to have fire danger ratings of Low, Medium, High, Extreme. They decided to add Catastrophic to ours. We now have things like Weather Bombs, Catastrophic rain events, Cyclonic Winds (not the actual cyclones just strong winds) and Extreme weather events. All tied to the climate change narrative.
