Too cold for the squirrels still. I can always tell the weather by the amount of tree rats running around the below the feeders.
It seems that no matter how much deed goes in it just disappears. Happy birds though and they chirp every time I go out saying that they want more.

Now let's talk about the fluffy snow-maybe the big leaf blower would be faster.

I went out two times earlier to remove some snow but the additional snow overnight covered everything.
Luckily it was a dry snow and the snow blower worked great
Hearing more snow next weekend…

Went out to bring some firewood in. Was so cold I couldn't get the wheelbarrow started

I've thought about getting one, but there are so few times that I actually need one anymore, it seems unnecessary. We used to get snow like crazy all winter, nowadays it's either nothing, ice, or just rain. Not much snow. Except this year, of course.

I remember the best we had was a snow scoop, and a shovel.

I usually just shovel out the walking paths and feeding areas for the animals, then let nature melt the rest of it.

I did it with an ATV with a plow, the a tractor with a snowblower, then the plow on the truck.
I have an old Craftsman 5hp snowblower that I get tuned up, then the gas goes sour. Get it tuned up, repeat.
I might buy a newer one this year to do the paths and in front of the garage.
It would be handy to do along the rock garden so I could do the rest with the plow.

Hi Pep…you got me beat with your plow…
With that amount of snow it’s over my boots and I just cut into the walkway not tearing up the bricks then come back to shovel 😊

Wow this heavy snow is so tough to clear.
I’ve been using hi test non ethanol gas during the winter and it never fails me..
